Science:We have been learning about rivers and why they flow. The class went outside and experimented with water to see what they needed to do to make it flow.
Writing: We are learning about types of sentences and learning how to write a good paragraph. History:We are learning about Ancient Asian Civilizations. This week we learned about the Himalayan Mountains and Indus River and fertile soil. |
Science: We learned about the Scientific Method and did an experiment to see if cookies sink or float. We also continued talking about rivers and made a model of a mountain, then poured water on it like rain to see which way it would go.
History:We read two Ancient Asian fables: The Tiger, The Brahman, and the Jackal, and The Blind Men and the Elephant.
Writing:We are learning to indent and edit our paragraphs for capital letters and end marks.
